An international language center, Playalingua del Caribe provides a great facility for learning Spanish in a quick and stress-free manner. The center not only offers very thorough Spanish language courses for international students in Playa del Carmen, it also takes the locals in English, French, German and Italian classes. Founded some 15 years ago, the place boasts of instructors with several decades of teaching experience in Europe.

The teachers at Playalingua del Carmen are keen to help students improve their language skills easily and effectively. Majority of these teachers have been working at the center for several years and the enthusiasm in them for the Spanish language and associated culture has not die down. They are also friendly and respectful in their approach toward students. The staff is ever-ready to provide necessary services and assistance to make learning enjoyable.

The language school features eight classrooms, offices, a library and an exhibition room. Wireless internet access is provided for students bringing laptops, while four computers with internet connection are already available.

In the lodging section, there are 12 double rooms with private bathroom as well as 10 single rooms with shared bathroom. Breakfast is served in a cafeteria. A pool, garden and hammocks are also available for students to unwind and calm their nerves.

The center is simply an ideal place for learning. Students also get the opportunity to bask in the beauty of the Mexican Caribbean. The small independent school is among the pioneer schools in Playa del Carmen for learning Spanish. It has official recognitions from Secretaria de Turismo (SECUT) and Instituto de Capacitacion de los Trabajadores del Estado (ICAT).
