About Cenote Chac-Mool
Cenote Chac Mool’s entrance is only a couple of meters following Puerto Aventuras. Three different water entrances to Cenote Chac-Mool are there.
There are Kukulkan cenote and Little Brother cenote on the side entry. The Dome Room can be directly accessed from the main entrance. Here a part of the roof has fallen below an air auditorium where the divers may admire and surface a whole lot of attractive stalactites as well as some fossils. In Kukulkan side, we have a fantastic light show in bright days.
Chac-Mool is among the caverns which have halocline, where fresh water and salt combine together to create visual effects. Having large rooms and maximum depth of 12 meters, it is an ideal place for divers.
Additionally, Chac-Mool presents penetration for divers. It has the biggest underwater stalactite all over the world.

Cenote Chac-MoolKate
Cenote Chac-Mool is a very beautiful cenote with a great underwater view. The water is very pure and when you dive you can see how the sunlight penetrates into the caves and into the water. The view is really breathtaking! It was a little bit scaring for me to dive because you swim not in the open sea but in the caves and in some places there is only rocks and nothing more over you.
