In the beginning of 2008, Dream Gate Cenote was made opened for the people and after that, it has achieved so much praise and soon has become one of the excellent grotto dives in the area. The way the hole cavern area is adorned is simply unbelievable that will show you the feel of most caves look.
1km south of Dos Ojos, Dream Gate Cenote is sited on Highway 307 and after a short turning from the Dream Gate; you will enter into the jungle through extremely rough 4km muddy road.
The BBC Planet Earth in their Documentary Series episode called “Caves” and the BBC Natural World Documentary named “Secrets of the Maya Underworld” featured Dream Gate Cenote for undersea footage greatly.
