About Yalahau Lagoon
Yalahau Lagoon which is located on the northeast corner of Mexico’s Yuctan peninsula. The 42-km long island, Holbox runs along the peninsula’s coast. Yalahau Lagoon separates it from the mainland. Holbox and its surrounding waters form a part of Yum Balam Biosphere Reserve hence, one of the most important ecosystems in the world.
