Holbox, or Black Hole in Mayan, is quite often referred to as simply, ‘the Whale Shark Island’, due to its ideal position to go in search of these huge, yet gentle creatures. With a season running from late May to early September, our experienced guides will take you on an extraordinary nautical adventure in which you will have the opportunity to swim with the largest living fish in the world. In an area rich with fauna and flora, you may also be lucky enough to come across sea turtles, enormous manta rays, dolphins, flamingos and more, while you make your way to have a lunch of fresh fish ‘cerviche’ on a secluded beach, passing by the beginning of the Caribbean sea’s incredible coral reef.
