Mayans' Explorers company is a family run one, specializing in private to small group eco-adventure and archeological adventure tours. Mayans’ Explorers are extremely passionate about the country, their heritage- which is Mayan- , and the beautiful sites in the Mayan Riviera. They like to consider themselves friends that want to show you around, rather than a tourism company. They will lead you around the Riviera, showing you the beautiful sites and places that they love to enjoy and will promise you that you will have lots of fun during your visit.
The tours offered by Mayans’ Explorers are all-inclusive. They include transportation from your hotel to the sites and vice-versa. They will also provide you with a guide that speaks fluent English which have been certified by the Mexican Bureau of Tourism, lunch (all you pay extra for is your drinks), tickets to get in to all the sites, and ice-cold water to keep you hydrated as you explore beautiful Mexico.

Communication prior to the tour was less than ideal. They were very passive aggressive and not flexible. I will never book with them again. I ended up not doing the tour (they kept my deposit) because I accidentally booked the wrong date and they did not confirm the tour until the night before (time zones are different in Europe) so I didn't realize it until the tour was technically over. I asked to book the tour for a different date and they refused. I ended up doing all of the activities for half the price and on my own (with no time restrains)
