They have been in the area since 1983 and are family owned and operated. Eduardo and Daniel have been showing clients around the area for almost thirty years. Now, their mom, wives, nephews, have joined as well as other tour guides, creating a “tour guide family.” They are a native tour company, offering tours to the cenotes Dos Ojos, Turtle Bay Snorkel, and even the Lagoon Aquarium YalKu.

Many other tour companies are trying really hard to compete with them, because the places Edventure Tours visits are definitely amazing. However, their experience and expertise in the area will give you the best value for your money. They are very proud of their knowledge in the area, and make safety their number one priority. They do not sell themselves out by offering tours in the resorts. They want their clients to experience a wonderful, “edventure” filled day, instead of a canned tour, which gives you set locations and time constraints. Edventure Tours has many different options for your day, and if you book a private tour, it will be your day alone- with your guide.

Most recently, they have been able to open up a zipline and cenote park, called SELVA MAYA. This is a truly magical place. When you visit, you will experience firsthand the wonders of the Mayan Jungle and all its untainted beauty. They have very carefully woven the bridges and ziplines into the natural setting, so that they don’t disrupt the natural ecosystem. You will be given an exhilarating and fun, yet completely safe experience. The ziplines are constructed with the International standards in mind, in accordance with the ACCT, which is the Association for Challenge Course Technology.

You will be given a wonderful jungle experience- the ATV ride into the park will get you up close and personal to the beauty of the jungle and you will experience authentic Mayan cuisine- seasoned and marinated, wrapped in banana leaves, and baked underground.
