Berlitz is a language school in Playa del Carmen, set up to help people learn new language through the use of a unique method whose effectiveness has been proven time and again. Teaching is tied to everyday activities such that it becomes easier to learn a new language in somewhat similar manner you were able to learn your local language. The Berlitz Instruction Method comprises three salient elements, namely: live instruction, review and technology.

Live instruction relates to language lessons given in a class setting by fluent native instructors. In these classes, students are familiarized with language vocabulary and pronunciation as well as grammatical structures. Opportunity is given to students to practice what they are taught, with instructors ready to correct any errors made.

The review aspect takes place primarily at home. Students are provided with books, audios, CDs and other relevant materials to study and practice with. These materials not only help to improve reading, writing and comprehension skills, they also improve communication skills in the new language.

Berlitz also incorporates the use of technology in teaching. This is apparent in some of the materials students are presented with such as CDs and online resources. Effort is made in every regard to help students attain proficiency in the new language.

All three elements combine to help tailor learning to the style of individual students for more efficient results.
