Imagine the fascinating forms in the cavern, the stalactites which will be surrounding you while you are having your meal. Thousands of years have passed while nature has created these fascinating rock formations and in Alux Playa del Carmen you have the opportunity to contemplate them while having a delicious meal.

This unique place is divided into a few parts, located in naturally formed vaults: the Restaurant, the Cenote Dining, Bar & Lounge and the Mayan Ceremonial Hall.

The Alux Restaurant has about 50 seats. There are magnificent stalagmites all around you and from the tables near the main bar you can even watch their constant slow growth.

The Cenote Dining has 65 seats and is a perfect choice for a rehearsal dinner. The cenote, a beautiful limestone fountain, is located above the main restaurant vault. The fascinating rock formations around it make this place really enchanting.

Alux Bar & Lounge: Here is the second largest vault in Alux. In Alux Bar & Lounge you can have a great party without any noise concerns because the vault is soundproofed by nature. So, let the party start!
The bar has a capacity for 120 people and here we have had great parties with international DJ’s, great jazz bands, talented theatre troupes, enthusiastic school groups, etc. This place is also very appropriate for rehearsal dinners and private parties.

Mayan Ceremonial Hall: Here you have the unique opportunity of celebrating a genuine Mayan Wedding Ceremony guided by a real shaman! Moreover, you and your guests will be entertained by dancers in full native pre-Hispanic costumes, which will make the atmosphere of your wedding even more exotic.
The Mayan Ceremonial Hall is the most recently discovered part of Alux’s cavern and it could be the place for a wedding ceremony, which will be remembered forever.
