Sometimes a failure leads to big ideas and more exploration. We at Active Nature, experience the same feelings in 2006. In 2006, we were on a trip from Alaska to Patagonia, when it was disrupted by the collapse of our Van.

At that time we met Arturo at Ecotucan . That becomes the perfect match for all of us. He has an idea for a project, he shared the idea and we just ended up loving it. Arturo later becomes the site owner. It was an intense Love … is you surprised? Don’t be so. We were a nature lover, and his idea was about living in complete accord with the Mother Nature.

The final decision was to live with nature for some more time and we started travelling around the beautiful lake and adjacent jungle on bikes, small kayak and by walking around the awesome track.
This very first together exploration leads us to come up with Active Nature. We intend to amaze you by the splendid beauty of this lake.
