Cenote Las Mojarras is a nice sink hole in the Riviera Maya. It is situated to the left of the road, only 12.2 Kilo metres from highway. There are lots of natural marvels of the Riviera Maya, but a few of the most exclusive to the spot are the cenotes. Cenotes are fresh water sink holes generated by a river system underground and are considered by the Maya to be holy. Additionally they were a very important source of fresh water. The Mayans also thought they were the doorway to the underworld.
