About Playa Delfines Cancun
Playa Delfines is situated in the North of Punta Nizuc that is on 18 km of the hotel zone. One of the most popular beaches, Playa Delfines is a nice place that provides you an exceptional opportunity to absorb some sunlight and to capture some moments around the Caribbean Sea.

Playa Delfines CancunSophie
Playa Delfines is one of the most equipped public beaches in Cancun. There are a lot of free sunshades ("palapas") on it but if you weren't lucky to have one of them then you can rent another one. Unfortunately I can't say how much does it cost because I always managed to have free one. There is fitness equipment, two children's playground, free toilet and shower-bath. If you come to Playa Delfines by car, there is a parking lot.
As for the sea each beach in Cancun differs. On the "Playa Delfines" it isn't calm. There are a lot waves and it isn't recommended to swim far away from the coast. Better to swim where the sea isn't deep, where you can stand on your feet on the bottom. Nevertheless there are a lot of people there even with children. For your safety there are beach-rescues there, who even will forbid you to swim far away or in a wrong way where there is a strong stream or where it is deep and unsafe. IF YOU LIKE WAVES THEN PLAYA DELFINES IS FOR YOU!
There is one important note about all beaches in Cancun: IT IS FORBIDDEN TO BRING GLASS! There is a money penalty for this.
